RMA Policy & Form
1. Electronic Products- Standard Stock (off
the shelf) items returned within 15 days of the receipt of
the product will be accepted for full credit if they are
received by AVE Investments, Inc., (parent company to POS-Consultants
and pcCashdrawer), in the condition that they were originally
shipped to the customer and in saleable condition with all
the cables, accessories, manual, drivers and CD. If received
between 16 and 30 days from the date of receipt, a 20% restocking
fee may apply. Beyond 31 days no returns are accepted, except
for repairs.
2. After submitting a completed RMA form, the Customer must
be available should the technician at AVE Investments, Inc.
wish to speak with him about the problems reported on the
RMA request form. An RMA number will not be assigned until
the technician has determined that the defect cannot be solved
over the phone
3. Products shipped without a AVE Investments, Inc. RMA Number
may be rejected at the receiving dock. Customer must receive
an RMA number prior to shipping any products back to AVE
Investments, Inc.
4. RMA numbers are valid for 7 days. If the product is not
shipped back to AVE Investments, Inc. within 7 days the RMA
number will become null and void. The customer must request
another RMA number from the website.
5.Replacements will be shipped via UPS Ground unless other
options are requested. Customer will bear the cost of shipment
of replacement unit, AVE Investments, Inc. will cover the
cost of the return of the in-warranty defective unit if returned
in the same carton as the replacement unit and with the shipping
label supplied by AVE Investments, Inc.
6. All products are warranted for 12 months from the date
of the shipment. AVE Investments, Inc. will ship an equivalent
model (if original model is no longer available) to customer
upon issuance of RMA number. These units may be new or refurbished
pc's at AVE Investments, Inc.' option.
7. Customer's credit card will be charged at the time of
shipment for the full price of replacement unit plus freight
unless a shipper number is supplied by customer. Customer
then has 15 days from receipt of replacement to return defective
unit in the packaging supplied by AVE Investments, Inc..
A return shipping label will be supplied inside box with
replacement unit. Customer will be credited back the price
of the replacement unit as long as unit is shipped within
the 15 day grace period. If unit is received after that date,
AVE Investments, Inc. will charge a $25 processing fee prior
to issuing credit for the returned unit.
8. Items out of warranty, damaged as a result of customer
misuse or found to have no defect at all will be billed for
one hour labor for evaluation and functionality testing.
This fee covers only technician time to evaluate the product.
Repair of the product is not included in this fee.
9.Materials damaged in shipping are not AVE Investments,
Inc.' s responsibility and are not covered under this policy.
Customer must contact the respective freight carrier directly
and immediately to initiate claims for shipping damage. If
items damaged during transit are returned to AVE Investments,
Inc. without contacting the carrier or AVE Investments, Inc.
first, the item will be returned to the customer and the
payment will be due in full.
10. Out of warranty RMA.s returned to AVE Investments, Inc.
will be processed within 5 business days of receipt. The
customer will be notified by email if any charges will be
incurred for repairs. The customer must respond via email
within 7 days from the date of notification. After 30 days,
if the customer does not respond to AVE Investments, Inc.
the unit may be discarded.
11. All computers mounted in the pcCashdrawer. have a serial
number on them. These stickers are used by AVE Investments,
Inc. to identify the units, therefore these stickers must
remain on all computers. Removal of any pcCashdrawer sticker
voids the warranty.
12. Software purchases, including operating systems are Non-returnable,
non-refundable.
