Warranty Statement
AVE Investments, Inc. warrants its pcCashdrawer™ as
follows:
The pcCashdrawer™ sold by AVE Investments,
Inc. will be free of defects in material or workmanship for three
years from the date of purchase by End User under normal use
and service.
From the date of purchase by End User through the applicable
warranty period, AVE Investments, Inc will replace the product
at no charge with the same model or a model that most closely
corresponds to the original model. Replacements may be new or
repaired units. During the first year of the warranty period,
AVE Investments, Inc. will ship the replacement unit in advance
and will also pre-load the customer’s software on the hard drive
at no additional charge beyond shipping provided a gold drive
is on file at AVE’s RMA facility at the time of the failure.
After the first year of the warranty has elapsed through the
end of the applicable warranty period, the pcCashdrawer product
is warranted for parts and labor - depot service only.
Conditions to Warranty Service
For warranty service, the following requirements must be met:
1. An RMA form (Return Material Authorization) must be filled
out at www.pcCashdrawer.com.
After receipt of form AVE Investments, Inc. must be able to contact
the sender in an attempt to resolve the problem over the phone.
If, after the telephone conversation, it has been determined
that the problem cannot be remedied by phone, an RMA number will
be issued.
2. AVE Investments, Inc. will then ship a replacement unit to
the End User’s address with the End User’s software pre-loaded
on the hard drive at no cost beyond freight to the End User providing
a) the unit is still within it’s warranty period and b) End User
has made the contents of its “gold drive” available to AVE Investments,
Inc in advance of the failure of the product. The End User is
solely responsible for the contents of the “gold drive” which
will be kept in all confidentiality on file at AVE Investments’
facilities.
3. The End User’s credit card will be charged for the cost of
the replacement unit plus freight at the time of shipping. Customer
then has 30 days in which to return the defective unit to AVE
Investments, Inc. in the pre-addressed packaging supplied or
End User agrees to pay for the replacement. If defective product
is returned within the 30 day period, AVE will issue a credit
for the cost of the replacement unit to the End User’s credit
card. If no problem is found, AVE has the right to deduct the
cost of the return freight from the credit issued to the End
User.
Exclusions from the Warranty
This warranty does not cover the following conditions described
below.
Abuse or damage to equipment due to:
- Accident, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, or “Acts of God” or
other contingencies beyond the control of AVE Investments,
Inc.
- Use of incorrect line or input control voltages
- Failure to follow proper operating instructions.
- Improper or unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Any unit which has had its serial number altered, defaced
or removed.
Non-warranty repairs will be performed at the rate posted on
the current price list.
There are no warranties, expressed or implied, except the warranty
that is expressly set forth in this warranty statement.
The obligation of AVE Investments, Inc shall be limited to replacement
or repairs as set forth.
AVE Investments, Inc shall not be liable for incidental or consequential
loss or damage arising out of or in connection with use or performance
of the equipment.
