The iRegister with its posTablet revolutionizes consumer retail transaction technology and value. No longer will retailers need to purchase all in one POS systems for checkout and also hand held terminals for mobile applications. The $999 iRegister can perform both functions and sets the bar for combined price and performance.
The posTablet is stationary and AC powered when docked to the iRegister cash drawer, keyboard, thermal receipt printer at the base station. By simply removing the posTablet from the iRegister docking station, it becomes a mobile workstation for line busting, inventory management, order taking, or sales floor customer service applications. By upgrading the receipt printer to wireless functionality, receipts can be printed from anywhere on the sales floor. Belt printers are available for the posTablet also. The optional integrated barcode scanner and mini credit card reader are part of the posTablet and the rechargeable lithium battery will keep the mobile system running for hours.
The iRegister uses the Intel Atom processor and comes loaded with Windows 7 so that it will run a wide variety of POS and Managers Workstation applications. The cash drawer, receipt printer and compact POS Keyboard provide a proven, tested and complete out of the box POS solution that is ready to go.
